Surrey Wedding Photographer - Tanya and Rajan - Surrey National Golf Club
I first photographed Tanya and Rajan a couple of months before their wedding on the streets of London, Carnaby to be precise for their pre wedding session and it was apparent straight away that they were perfect together and I couldn’t wait to photograph their weddings… This post is all about their HIndu ceremony at Surrey National Golf Club back at the start of May 2023. Both the bride and groom looked sensational and as tradition would serve Rajan arrived to the sound of the dhol drummers surrounded by his family before entering the mandap and awaiting for Tanya. The ceremony was just so so beautiful and I am always thrilled to be able to document such wonderful Hindu ceremonies, they really are such a fun and great way to celebrate a couples love for each other.

“Our original photographer unfortunately had to cancel our wedding booking with 5 months to go to the wedding, and recommended Oliver as a replacement. . . . and it was definitely meant to be! From the get go, we both felt extremely comfortable with Oliver and he put us at ease, which trust me for two people as awkward and uncomfortable in from of the camera as us, is no mean feat.
Oliver photographed our engagement shoot and a Hindu wedding and civil ceremony and reception for us, and the photos are amazing! They capture the spirit of both days perfectly with each set truly reflecting what each day was about e.g. the intimate and religious nature of each of the Hindu ceremonies and then the celebration and party atmosphere when we got to legally say ‘I do’ three weeks later! He took the time to get to know us personally and all our quirky nuances which I think really shows in the work he produced.
Our family and friends loved him, knew him by name and were joking around with him at both ceremonies... The bridesmaids were very appreciative when he turned up with a portable speaker which they’d forgotten!
Overall, we couldn’t recommend Oliver enough when consider wedding photographers and know that we’ll be having his photos on our walls for years to come.”
