The time of year you have booked your wedding will have a significant impact on the way the estate is displayed, and while this might not seem like a major factor, it is definitely worth considering. The quality of light is the single most important aspect in photography and can remarkably alter both the look and feel of the images taken. The woodyard at the estate offers fantastic lighting conditions, and in the event of the charming yet often unpredictable British weather, it lends itself beautifully to creating both stunning couple portraits and, of course, the obligatory group photo that you will cherish for years to come.

I simply love taking wedding pictures at the stunning Worstead Estate, which is an exclusive wedding venue beautifully situated on a picturesque private country estate in North Norfolk. With the estate nestled in a quiet and tranquil lakeside setting, the expansive 300-acre Worstead Park serves as a breathtaking backdrop for your special day, offering endless opportunities for captivating photographs. The Worstead Estate features a beautifully restored thatched barn and sawmill, along with luxurious estate accommodations, creating an idyllic place to gather your closest family and friends for an unforgettable weekend filled with cherished memories. Whether capturing enchanting moments around the estate's meticulously maintained walled garden or utilizing the soft natural light in the charming Woodyard, there is always the opportunity to be as creative as possible while exploring the many diverse spaces that Worstead has to offer. The thoughtful use of high-quality materials and the care and attention to detail during the estate's extensive refurbishment of the Woodyard truly lend themselves to creating stunning and memorable pictures.
The Worstead Weekender
This is a completely bespoke package meticulously tailored to work harmoniously with the unique qualities of The Worstead Estate, and it almost treats your wedding weekend in beautiful North Norfolk as if it were a destination wedding. You will benefit from comprehensive coverage starting from Friday evening when you arrive and check in, extending through to Sunday afternoon when you prepare to check out. This offering provides a complete photography experience designed to document one of the most meaningful weekends of your lives.
On Friday evening, I can cover any pre-ceremony dinner and drinks, providing approximately 2 hours of dedicated coverage. Your full day on Saturday will be documented, capturing everything from the intimate moments of bridal preparation right through until the exciting dancing and celebration, and even beyond that! Finally, when all is said and done, I will reappear like a ray of sunshine illuminating a cloudy day on Sunday morning to capture the aftermath of the festivities, providing another approximately 2 hours of coverage. Having been a guest at numerous weddings prior to becoming a wedding photographer, as well as afterward, I have come to realize that some of the moments that evoke the most laughter often occur after the photographer has already departed.
With this package, however, I will be present to document when the dancing becomes particularly wild and ornate, as well as all those memorable moments from the morning after. I was first asked to cover this entertaining aspect of a wedding back in 2019, and it was absolutely fabulous—the delightful little conversations happening all around, and observing who seemed a bit more delicate and fragile compared to others. All the stunning images from the entire weekend will be conveniently delivered in one cohesive online gallery, ensuring a fluid representation of your weekend while being broken down into distinct sections to make navigation clear and simple for you. The images will remain accessible online forever, and you will have the ability to download them in high resolution whenever you choose.

Whether it be a few quiet drinks and a load of pizzas or a posh dinner with fine wines I will cover two hours to start the story of your wedding wekend
SATURDAY ALL DAY
The main event including a full day of coverage from getting ready all the way through to dancing and later on into the evening to include the late coverage option.

Exclusively for The Worstead Estate, the Sunday morning special no orange juice included, just a collection of images that show how good your weekend was!
