I simply love taking wedding pictures at the stunning Worstead Estate, which is an exclusive wedding venue located on a beautiful private country estate in North Norfolk. Set in a quiet and tranquil lakeside setting, the expansive 300-acre Worstead Park serves as a breathtaking backdrop for your special day. A corkage-free wedding venue offers guests a unique and secluded environment that perfectly complements the celebration of love. The venue features a beautifully restored thatched barn and sawmill, along with luxurious estate accommodations, providing an idyllic place to gather your closest family and friends for an unforgettable weekend of memories.

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding here in July 2024, where Fi and Matt spent the morning getting ready in the estate cottage. This charming setting boasted perfect natural light, allowing me to capture the intimate moments as Fi and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. As the guests slowly began to filter into The Woodyard, Fi made the memorable walk down to the fully restored thatched barn to commence their nuptials, filled with emotion and laughter—just like any great wedding ceremony should be. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a delightful array of canapés and a refreshing glass of bubbly on the West Terrace while Fi delivered a heartfelt and emotional speech that truly resonated with everyone present.

Throughout the day, I was able to capture some of the obligatory wedding group pictures as well as beautifully lit couple portraits by the serene lakeside. For the wedding breakfast, Matt received the green light to label the tables after his beloved football team, Arsenal. His ex-roommate delivered a perfect best man speech, peppered with many references to Peep Show, which allowed me to capture some incredible, candid moments filled with laughter. The space at The Woodyard benefits from an abundance of natural light, which truly allowed me to highlight what is important within the framing of each image. As the sun dipped below the horizon, all that was left was for the newlyweds to dance the night away, celebrating with cocktails flowing freely among their friends and family, creating lasting memories together.
