A truly scintillating London wedding for a beautiful couple Meg and Jamie surrounded by all their closest friends and family members. They decided to get married at the iconic East London wedding venue Wiltons Hall a sublime old London music hall absolutely jam packed with character and a set a perfect stage for what was a truly musical experience.

Picture the scene, a beautifully sunny March day, a stunning couple and of course The Ned hotel as a backdrop for all the magic to happen. Jess and Tom’s opulent London wedding was just perfect, she spent the morning with her bridesmaids getting pampered, having her hair done and enjoying a glass of bubbles.. Tom however was engaged in the usual male behaviour of getting ready in about 15 minutes by popping a suit on and sorting out his tie, of course a drink or two was consumed.

The stunning wedding venue of Upton Barn in Devon hosted what was honestly a truly breathtaking day with an absolute wedding photography bucket list big tick. With Scott being in the Navy the day was surely planned to go off with a bang but with a guard of honour, confetti and then a timely planned fly by… you couldn’t make it up. This wedding was just so full of personal touches with a tip of the hat to lost loved ones, a quaich filled with strongbow and honestly some of the best dancing I had seen all year by the navy boys.

Ok, so you’ve got engaged, booked a wedding venue and now you find yourselves exploring the Internet looking through photographers portfolios. Trying to figure out if you like their work and who they are? do you want to spend the day having your photographs taken by them and if so whats next? Start to stalk them on instagram and compile a gruelling list of questions that you want to ask them and make sure that they are in fact the right photographer for you!

Having been a photographer for quite a few years now I have seen my fair share of cameras and camera brands including even using film cameras, and by that I don’t mean it makes videos, I mean a roll of film the beautiful old 35mm SLR. Up until recently I had been photographing my weddings with the Sony A7iii a more then capable camera and I was very pleased with the results that I got from them.

I sit here in February safe in the knowledge that I can finally draw a close to 2021 and I have spent some time thinking about how to conclude the last 8 months of working in the wedding industry. The highs, the lows and all the bits in between 2021 really did push me to breaking to point a few times and I was just very fortunate to have amazing friends around me along with the support of my fabulous couples..

Bernie and Naesan decided to get married at the sublime Grantley Hall in Yorkshire, an absolutely breathtaking venue with so much space to celebrate your wedding day in ultimate style.

Mike and Katie got married at the historic Hurlingham Club in London, an idyllic location in Fulham on the banks of the river Thames. Katie spent the morning getting ready at her aunt’s house nearby and then travelled in style with her father in his beautiful Triumph TR7.

Sarah and Josh got married at Clevedon Hall in North Somerset and it was truly an honour to have photographed their wedding day for them. Sarah and Josh's original photographer had to pass their wedding Photography duties over to me and so I only had a short space of time to prepare for their wedding day and get to know them.

This London wedding at The Ned hotel was literally sensational, the beautiful Adam and Jade spent the morning apart getting ready at The Ned hotel. Jade was on the sixth floor in the RWB room with her bridesmaids enjoying a cheeky pastry whilst Adam enjoyed a quiet spot of brunch downstairs in Millie’s before heading to his room with his groomsmen. Once church ready Adam and the boys made their way to St Bride’s Church to welcome everybody before the arrival of jade wearing a sublime Emmy Mae dress.

Gina looked stunning in her Halfpenny London dress, and Ollie looked sharp in his suit. They both had big smiles on their faces all day long, which made for some really beautiful photographs. They had an amazing ceremony at Middle Temple Hall and a reception at Spencer House in London, and I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of it!

This was another heartbreaking postponement and I was so overjoyed to be able to document this London wedding at the awesome Barbican Conservatory.

Anna spent the morning getting ready with her besties and one of my highlights was when a couple of bridesmaids headed to Pret to get some provisions, so of course I tagged along!

Fast forward twelve months add the fabulous Herefordshire wedding venue Lyde Court and a one year anniversary was held in the most beautiful and perfect of ways spending the day with family and friends whilst having the most stunning humanist ceremony with not a dry eye to be seen…mine included.

Paddy and Marija's wedding was way overdue, they got married at Wandsworth town hall and then had a small dinner close to Battersea power station.

Wow, what a journey these two beauties have been on, I first met Paddy and Marija in 2019 and they had booked me to document their wedding day in July 2020... and we all know what happened then! They were the last couple I photographed before all this craziness happened in their pre wedding shoot which included toilet roll purchasing and a cold pint of Camden Hells.

Jen and Rich tied the knot at The Ned Hotel in London – what an amazing place for a wedding! If you’re looking for somewhere with character and history, then this is definitely the venue for you. Jen looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and Rich couldn’t take his eyes off her.

The million dollar question, why weddings? Why not cars, live music or travel hot spots. I often find myself asking this question and of course the easy answer is because I love photographing weddings but what does that actually mean. Well it means from the moment I arrive to photograph a happy and sometimes nervous bride I am emotionally involved in capturing your beautiful day and all the little moments that unfold.

The day started in the sublime Andaz hotel where Mia, her bridesmaids and her parents spent the morning casually getting ready before the boys arrived to have a swift half, put the finishing touches to their outfits and then we all made our way to St Peters Church in Clerkenwell to witness one of the most emotional ceremonies I have photographed all year. I always say to my couples you don’t know how you are going to feel until you are right there in that instant and this was clearly the case with Khan, the moment he knew Mia was at the church and in a matter of minutes they would be husband and wife he was overcome and just went with the feelings he so clearly felt.
