Guernsey Wedding Photography - Ellie and George
A Guernsey wedding that truly lived up to all of my expectations... it might have been delayed, but Ellis and George's wedding was just bloody fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I could tell it was going to be a day to remember. I started the day with my feet in the sea, capturing the joyous spirit of George and the boys as they took a refreshing morning swim before donning their stylish suits. George couldn't resist channeling his inner Daniel Craig as he emerged from the water, dripping with confidence.
Meanwhile, Ellie spent the morning surrounded by her loved ones, preparing for the big day and sipping Champagne as they shared laughter and excitement. The anticipation built as we made our way to the church, nestled on a hill, requiring a walk up the aisle both figuratively and literally. The setting couldn't have been more picturesque.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests gathered in a marquee, perfectly positioned right next to the stunning sea. Canapés, drinks, and delectable food were enjoyed by all, creating a delightful atmosphere of joy and celebration. The heartfelt speeches brought tears and laughter, capturing the essence of the couple's love story.
As the evening progressed, my attention shifted towards the sublime Guernsey sunset, casting a warm, golden glow over the surroundings. I seized the opportunity to whisk Ellis and George away for a few intimate pictures, capturing their love against the breathtaking backdrop. The moment was magical, and I knew these images would be cherished for a lifetime.
But the night was far from over. To keep the party alive and kicking into the late hours, a unique twist was brought in - a silent disco. As the noise faded away, the sounds of foot tapping and the occasional lyric being sung became the soundtrack of the night. Two hours of dancing in perfect harmony, guided by their own musical choices, created an unforgettable experience for all.
Without a doubt, this has been one of my personal favorites from this year's wedding season. Guernsey, you truly outdid yourself, providing the idyllic backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
