2022… thats a wrap!
Wow, what an absolutely incredible year 2022 turned out to be! Firstly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the simply amazing couples who entrusted me with the task of capturing and preserving their most cherished moments over the course of the past twelve months. It has been an absolute privilege to witness and document these special occasions.
I have been unbelievably fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph breathtaking moments at some of the most renowned and beloved wedding venues across the UK.
From the elegant Brunswick House and the historic Marylebone Town Hall to the charming Italian Greyhound and the luxurious Ned Hotel, each wedding venue has left an indelible impression on me. However, if I were to choose a personal favourite, it would have to be The Mount Without – a venue that holds a special place in my heart.
The past year has brought me closer than ever to my couples, and I am incredibly grateful for that. With a reduced number of weddings to shoot, I had the invaluable opportunity to truly engage with them and gain a deeper understanding of their unique stories. In the process, I discovered that my photographs strive to answer three fundamental questions – Who? What? Why? I believe that by capturing the essence of these questions, I am able to create images that authentically reflect the love and emotions shared by each couple.
I cannot emphasise enough how much I absolutely love my job. Being a part of every wedding that I have the privilege to photograph is truly an honour. The joy and excitement that fills the air, the nervous yet eager smiles, the tender glances, and the overflowing emotions – every element of these celebrations fills my heart with immense happiness.
As I look ahead to 2023, I am filled with anticipation for the moments yet to be captured, the stories waiting to unfold. I am eager to build upon the incredible experiences of the past year and continue to create meaningful and timeless memories for all the wonderful couples I will have the pleasure of working with.
